A visual celebration of canadianisms

“Tiguidou” is one of the 21 illustrations featured in the “Canada 150: Eh?” issue of Wayward Arts magazine, on canadianisms as interpreted by international creatives who had no idea what they meant. The illustrations were presented side-by-side with the actual meanings illustrated by Canadian creatives. “Tiguidou” is a francophone expression denoting a general feeling of well-being or acknowledgement. The creative from Thailand thought that it meant “It’s too damn cold outside and I can’t sleep.”
